PILOTAGE ACT 1971 - REGULATION

(Repealing certain obsolete regulations concerning

harbour and light rates) NEW SOUTH WALES

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Pilotage Act 1971, has been pleased to approve the Regulation made by the Maritime Services Board and set forth hereunder.

The Maritime Services Board, in pursuance of the Pilotage Act 1971,

makes the following Regulation:

Commencement

1. This Regulation takes effect on 30 June 1990.

Amendment

2. The Pilotage and Rates Regulations - N.S.W. are amended by

omitting Regulations 10, 11 and 13 and the Second Schedule.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to repeal certain Regulations that deal with harbour and light rates chargeable under the Port Rates Act 1975. Those rates are abolished by the repeal of that Act (effective on the commencement of the Marine Port Charges Act 1989 on 30 June 1990).
