Pig Slaughter Levy Regulations 2

(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia:

• (a)

  acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council; and

• (b)

  after taking into consideration the last recommendation made to the Minister for Primary Industries and Energy by the Australian Pork Corporation with respect to the amount to be prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 6 (1) (b) of the Pig Slaughter Levy Act 1971;

make the following Regulations under the Act.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1994.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Pig Slaughter Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 4 (Prescribed amount for the purposes of paragraph 6 (1) (b) of the Act)

3.1   Omit “$1.60”, substitute “$1.65”.
