Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

Short title

and citation.

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Pig Industry

Compensation Act Amendment Act, 1956.

(2) In this Act the Pig Industry Compensation

Act, 1942,

Act No. 38 of 1942 as amended by Acts Nos. 44 of 1949, 7 of 1951 and 9 of 1953,

is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Pig Industry Compensation Act, 1942-1956.
