Picturegram Regulations 1929 (Amendment) (Cth)
REGULATION UNDER THE POST AND TELEGRAPH ACT 1901-1950.*
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth
of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby
make the following Regulation under the

By His Excellency’s Command,
Amendment of the Picturegram Regulations.
Regulation 15 of the Picturegram Regulations is repealed and the following regulation inserted in its stead:—
“15.—(1.) The rates for the transmission of picturegrams shall be in accordance with the following table:—
Size of picture to be transmitted. | Rate per picture. |
Within the limits of 7 inches by 5 inches .. .. .. | Three pounds seventeen shillings and sixpence |
Exceeding the limits of 7 inches by 5 inches but not exceeding the limits of 9 inches by 7 inches | Four pounds seventeen shillings and sixpence |
Exceeding the limits of 9 inches by 7 inches but not exceeding the limits of 10 inches by 8 inches | Five pounds twelve shillings and sixpence |
“(2.) For the purposes of sub-regulation (4.) of regulation 18 of these Regulations, the prescribed additional charge for each copy of a multiple picturegram after the first copy is an amount of Ten shillings.”.
