174 ANNO DECIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE •••••••••••••••••• 0 •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• No. 41 An Act to Amend "The Picture Theatres and Films Acts, 1946 to 1958," in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 13TH DECEMBER, 1961] Short title Principal Act Collective title B E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. (1) This Act may be cited as " The Picture Theatres and Films Acts Amendment Act of 1961." (2) " The Picture Theatres and Films Acts, 1946 to 1958," are in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively cited as " The Picture Theatres and Films Acts, 1946 to 1961." Amendments 2. Section eight of the Principal Act is amended ofs. 8 by- (a) adding to the second paragraph of subsection (12) the words " or any condition specified in a determination of the Commission made prior to and in force on the eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight " ;

1961 Picture Theatres and Films, Etc., Act 175 (b) adding to subsection (12) the following paragraph :- " Where the Commission varies or otherwise modifies such a condition, that condition as so varied or modified shall become and be a condition of the determination concerned, shall be deemed to be specified therein, and may be dealt with by the Commission as prescribed by this subsection." ; and (c) inserting in subsection (14), after the words " condition specified ", the words " in a determination of the Commission made prior to and in force on the eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight, or specified or deemed to be specified ". 3. The repeal by "The Picture Theatres and Films Oper~!ion of Acts Amendment Act of 1958," of subsection (12) of ~~;e~~fn~- of section eight of " The Picture Theatres and Films Acts, ti~ns made 1946 to 1948," shall not affect, and it is hereby declared ~~~o~- 1 ~1 8 never has affected, the operation of any condition to which, pursuant to that repealed subsection, the Commission subjected any determination made by it prior to and in force on the eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight.
