B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the adyice and consent of the Legis- latiye Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1 This Act may be cited as " The Picture Theatres Short title and Film8 Act Amendment Act of 1946," and shall be:!tructioll. read as one with *" The Picture Theatre8 and Films Act .of 1946," herein referred to as the Principal Act. The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively~ollective cited as " The Picture Theatres and Films Act8 of 1946." tItle. 2. The following subsection is added to section five ~ e~ dment of the Principal Act, namely: _ 0 8. • " (10.) Notwithstanding anything in this Act con- tained every decision, determination, recommendation, and resolution of the Commission shall be submitted to the Minister for his confirmation. Subject to directions by the Governor in Council with respect to decisions, determinations, recommenda- tions or resolutions on matters of routine (which directions the Governor in Council is hereby empowered to give) no decision, determination, recommendation, or resolution of the Commission shall have any effect unless or until it has been confirmed by the Minister." * 10 G. 6 No. 12.
