An Ordinance to amend the Physiotherapists Registration Ordinance 1977

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Physiotherapists Registration

(Amendment) Ordinance 1982.1

Principal Ordinance

2. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Physiotherapists

Registration Ordinance 1977.2

Persons entitled to apply for registration

3. Section 14 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting from

sub-section (5) "and accompanied by the prescribed fee".

Board to authorize registration

4. Section 15 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by inserting "and has

Alteration of Register

5. Section 20 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting sub-section (3) and substituting the following sub-section:

"(3) The Board shall not make an alteration to particulars in the Register at the request of a person unless it is satisfied that the prescribed fee has been paid.".

6. After section 40 of the Principal Ordinance the following section is

inserted:

Payment of prescribed fees

"41 . Where a prescribed fee is payable under this Ordinance, the prescribed

fee shall be paid to the Capital Territory Health Commission.".
