Physiotherapists (Qualifications) Regulations 1998

The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the
Physiotherapists Registration Board of Victoria, makes the
following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe qualifications in physiotherapy granted in Canada and South Africa as qualifications recognised for the purpose of registration as a physiotherapist in Victoria.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under sections 12(2) and 28 of the Physiotherapists Act 1978.

3. Schedule of qualifications amended

In Schedule 1 to the Physiotherapists Regulations
19921—

Physiotherapists (Qualifications) Regulations 1998

(a)

under the heading "(h) Canada", after the item relating to University of Montreal insert—

"University of Bachelor of Science
Ottawa in Physiotherapy";

(b)

under the heading "(i) South Africa", after the item relating to University of Pretoria insert—

"University of the Bachelor of Science
Orange Free State Physiotherapy".
