Physiotherapists (Qualifications) (Amendment)

Regulations 1997

The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the
Physiotherapists Registration Board of Victoria, makes the
following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe certain qualifications in physiotherapy granted in the United Kingdom as qualifications recognised for the purpose of registration as a physiotherapist in Victoria.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 12 and

28 of the Physiotherapists Act 1978.

3. Schedule of qualifications amended

In Schedule 1 to the Physiotherapists Regulations
19921 under the heading "(g) United Kingdom",
after the entry relating to Birmingham Queen

Physiotherapists (Qualifications) (Amendment) Regulations
1997

Elizabeth School of Physiotherapy (where

secondly occurring) insert—

"University of Bachelor of Physiotherapy
Birmingham Bachelor of Science
Physiotherapy".
