Physiotherapists Act 1978

Physiotherapists (Fees) Regulations 1996

The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the
Physiotherapists Registration Board of Victoria, makes the
following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to increase the fees payable to the Physiotherapists Registration Board of Victoria for registration as a physiotherapist, renewal of registration, and restoration of a name to the register.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 12, 14,

16 and 28 of the Physiotherapists Act 1978.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on
1 December 1996.

4. Fees increased

For regulation 7 of the Physiotherapists
Regulations 19921 substitute—

"7. Fees

The fees payable under Part III of the Act
are—

(a) for registration $57.00
(b) for renewal of registration $29.00
(c) for restoration of a name to the
register $17.00

(d) for the issue of a certificate of

registration (other than an
original certificate of

registration) $10.00
(e) for a copy of the register $20.00
(f) for an extract from the register $5.00.".
