s1 2 s6 Physiotherapists Amendment (No. 2) No. 296, 2000 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Physiotherapists Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2000. ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Physiotherapists Regulation 1965 . ˙ Omission of s 16 (Prescribed qualifications for applicants whose qualifications were obtained outside Queensland) 3. Section 16— omit . ˙ Amendment of s 17 (Qualifications from a State or Territory other than Queensland) 4.(1) Section 17, heading— omit, insert — ‘ Prescribed qualifications for an interstate or territory applicant ’. (2) Section 17, ‘The prescribed’— omit, insert — ‘For section 16(1)(b) of the Act, the prescribed’. ˙ Omission of ss 19A and 19B 5 . Sections 19A and 19B— omit. ˙ Replacement of s 20 (Prescribed qualification for any other applicant) 6. Section 20— omit, insert—

For section 16(1)(b) of the Act, the prescribed qualification for an applicant whose qualifications were not obtained in Australia is the final certificate of the Australian Examining Council for Overseas Physiotherapists.’. ˙ Amendment of sch 1 (Fees) 7.
