His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Regulation under the Photo Card Act 2005.

Explanatory note

The objects of this Regulation are:

(a) to increase the fees for the issue of Photo Cards, and
(b) to increase the penalties for offences dealt with by way of a penalty notice issued under the Photo

Card Act 2005.

This Regulation is made under the Photo Card Act 2005, including sections 5 (3), 34 and 36 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Photo Card Amendment (Fees and Penalty Notice Offences)
Regulation 2018.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2018 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.

Schedule 1 Amendment of Photo Card Regulation 2014

[1]      Clause 4 Fees for Photo Card

Omit “$94” from clause 4 (a) (iii). Insert instead “$96”.

[2]      Clause 4 (b) (iii)

Omit “$53”. Insert instead “$54”.

[3]      Schedule 1 Penalty notice offences

Omit the Schedule. Insert instead:
