Notice Offences) Regulation 2014

Photo Card Act 2005

His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Photo Card Act 2005.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Photo Card Regulation 2005:

(a)	to increase the fees (from $49 to $50 and $23 to $24, respectively) for the issue of a Photo Card and a replacement Photo Card, and
(b)	to increase the penalties for certain offences dealt with by way of a penalty notice issued under section 34 of the Photo Card Act 2005 in relation to contraventions of certain provisions of that Act and a provision of the Photo Card Regulation 2005.

The fee and penalty increases are generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index. regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Photo Card Amendment (Fee and Penalty Notice Offences)
Regulation 2014.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2014 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.

Schedule 1 Amendment of Photo Card Regulation 2005

[1]      Clause 4 Fee for Photo Card

Omit “$49” from clause 4 (a). Insert instead “$50”.

Omit “$23”. Insert instead “$24”.
