Phosphate Fertilizers Bounty

An Act to amend the Phosphate Fertilizers Bounty Act 1963 in relation to the Period in respect of which Bounty is payable under that Act and in relation to Decimal Currency.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—

Short title and citation.

1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the Phosphate Fertilizers Bounty Act 1966.

 

(2.) The Phosphate Fertilizers Bounty Act 1963 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

(3.) The Principal Act, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Phosphate Fertilizers Bounty Act 1963–1966.

Commencement.

2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

Specification of bounty.

3. Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (a) and inserting in its stead the following paragraph:—

“(a)during the period from and including the fourteenth day of August, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-three, to and including the thirty-first day of October, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-nine, sold for use in Australia as a fertilizer; or”.

Amendments in relation to decimal currency.

4. The Principal Act is amended as set out in the Schedule to this Act.
