An Ordinance to amend the Pharmacy Ordinance 1931-1967.
1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Pharmacy Ordinance
1970.*
(2.) The Pharmacy Ordinance 1931-1967,t as amended by this
Ordinance, may be cited as the Pharmacy Ordinance 1931-1970.
2. Section 12 of the Pharmacy Ordinance 1931-1967 is amended—
(a) by omitting sub-section (3.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-section:— " (3.) A person who attends for the purpose of giving evidence before the Board is entitled to receive such fees and travelling expenses in accordance with the scale in the Second Schedule to the Public Works Committee Regula tions as in force from time to time under the Public Works Committee Act 1969 as the Chairman or, if the Chairman is absent from the meeting of the Board, the Deputy Chair man determines."; and
(b) by omitting from sub-section (4.) the word " allowances " and inserting in its stead the word " expenses ". 3. Section 49 of the Pharmacy Ordinance 1931-1967 is amended—
(a) by omitting sub-section (4.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-section:— " (4.) A person (not being a party) who attends before the Minister for the purpose of giving evidence is entitled to receive such fees and travelling expenses in accordance with the scale in the Second Schedule to the Public Works Committee Regulations as in force from time to time under the Public Works Committee Act 1969 as the Minister determines."; and
