REGULATIONS UNDER THE PHARMACEUTICAL BENEFITS ACT 1947-1949.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Act 1947-1949.

Amendments of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Regulations. 

Form and maximum quantities of benefits.

1. Regulation 18 of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Regulations is amended by inserting after sub-regulation (3.) the following sub-regulation :—

“ (3a.) The last preceding sub-regulation does not apply to the pharmaceutical benefits specified in items 58, 59, 60 and 61 in the Second Schedule to these Regulations”.

The Second Schedule.

2. Items 58, 59, 60 and 61 in the Second Schedule to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Regulations are amended—

(a) by omitting from column 5 the figures “ 12 ” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the figure “ 3 ” ; and

(b) by omitting from column 6 the figure “ 3 ” (wherever occurring) and inserting in its stead the figures “ 12 ”.
