An Act to amend
the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) (Registration
Fees) Amendment Act 1980

IT ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and the House of Representatives of the
Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:
Short
title, &c.
1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) (Registration
Fees) Amendment Act 1981.
(2) The Petroleum (Submerged Lands)
(Registration Fees) Amendment Act 19801 is in
this Act referred to as the Principal Act.
Commencement
2. This Act shall come
into operation on the day fixed by Proclamation under section 2 of the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) (Registration
Fees) Amendment Act 1980, and
that Act shall come into operation on that day as amended by this Act.
Imposition
of registration fees
3. Section 3 of the
Principal Act is amended—
(a)
by inserting after paragraph (1) (c) the following paragraph:
“(ca)
by omitting from paragraph (5) (a) “the parties” and substituting “2 or more
parties”; and
(b)
by omitting from sub-section (2) “and (c)” and substituting “, (c) and (ca)”.
