Name of Regulations
These Regulations are the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) (Management of Safety on Offshore Facilities) Amendment Regulations 2005 (No. 1).

Commencement
These Regulations commence on 1 September 2005.

Amendment of Petroleum (Submerged Lands) (Management of Safety on Offshore Facilities) Regulations 1996
Schedule 1 amends the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) (Management of Safety on Offshore Facilities) Regulations 1996.

must specify adequate procedures for shutting down or isolating, in the event of emergency, each pipeline connected to the facility, so as to stop the flow of hazardous substances through the pipeline.
