His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Petroleurn (Submerged Lands) Act 1982.

Explanatory note The object of this Regulation is to repeal and remake, with no changes in substance, the provisions of the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Fees and Securities Regulation 1991. The new Regulation prescribes the amounts of fees for the purposes of the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982.
This Regulation comprises or relates to matters arising under legislation that is substantially uniform or complementary with legislation of the Commonwealth or another State or Territory.
This Regulation is made under the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982, including section 152 (the general regulation making power) and various other sections referred to in the Regulation.
This Regulation is made in connection with the staged repeal of subordinate legislation under the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989.

2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 September 1996.
3 Definition
In this Regulation:
the Act means the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982.
4 Notes
The explanatory note and table of contents do not form part of this Regulation.
5 Fees
The prescribed fee for the purposes of a provision of the Act specified in Schedule 1 is the fee specified opposite that provision.
6 Repeal
The Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Fees and Securities
Regulation 1991 is repealed.

Fees for the release of information
