REGULATIONS UNDER THE PETROLEUM SEARCH SUBSIDY ACT 1959-1961.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Petroleum Search Subsidy Act 1959-1961.

PETROLEUM SEARCH SUBSIDY REGULATIONS. 

Rates of subsidy on footage basis.

1. Regulation 2 of the Petroleum Search Subsidy Regulations is amended—

(a)by omitting from sub-regulation (3.) the words “and to test drilling”; and

(b)by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:—

“(5.) The scale of rates set out in the Fourth Schedule to these Regulations is applicable to test drilling.”.

Second Schedule.

2. The Second Schedule to the Petroleum Search Subsidy Regulations isamended by omitting from the heading the words “AND TEST DRILLING”.
