1Name of Regulations

 These Regulations are the Petroleum Retail Marketing Sites Amendment Regulations 1999 (No. 2).

2Commencement

 These Regulations commence, or are taken to have commenced, as follows:

  • (a)

    on 1 June 1999 — regulation 3 and Schedule 1;

  • (b)

    on 1 July 1999, immediately before the commencement of item 2 of Schedule 2 to the Petroleum Retail Marketing Sites Amendment Regulations 1999 (No. 1) (Statutory Rules 1999 No. 49) — regulation 4 and Schedule 2;

  • (c)

    on 1 October 1999 — regulation 5 and Schedule 3;

  • (d)

    on gazettal — the remainder.

3Amendment of Petroleum Retail Marketing Sites Regulations 1981

Schedule 1 amends the Petroleum Retail Marketing Sites Regulations 1981.

4Amendment of Petroleum Retail Marketing Sites Amendment Regulations 1999 (No. 1)

Schedule 2 amends the Petroleum Retail Marketing Sites Amendment Regulations 1999 (No. 1) (Statutory Rules 1999 No. 49).

5Amendment of Petroleum Retail Marketing Sites Regulations 1981

Schedule 3 amends the Petroleum Retail Marketing Sites Regulations 1981.

6Application of regulation 3

 Despite paragraph 2 (a), the amendment made by regulation 3 does not affect a right of a person (other than the Commonwealth or an authority of the Commonwealth) under section 12 of the Petroleum Retail Marketing Sites Act 1980 during the period beginning on 1 June 1999 and ending immediately before the commencement of this regulation.

7Application of regulation 4

 Despite paragraph 2 (b), the amendment made by regulation 4 does not affect a right of a person (other than the Commonwealth or an authority of the Commonwealth) under section 12 of the Petroleum Retail Marketing Sites Act 1980 during the period beginning on 1 July 1999 and ending immediately before the commencement of this regulation.
