His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Petroleum Products Subsidy Act 1965.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to provide that claims for payment under the Petroleum Products Subsidy Act 1965 are to be in a form made available at, and lodged at or posted to, an office of AusIndustry, instead of an office of the Australian Customs Service.

This Regulation is made under the Petroleum Products Subsidy Act 1965, including sections 7 and 19 (the general regulation-making power).

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Petroleum Products Subsidy Amendment
Regulation 2000.

2 Amendment of Petroleum Products Subsidy Regulation 1998

The Petroleum Products Subsidy Regulation 1998 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

Clause 4 Claims for payments: section 7

Omit “the Australian Customs Service” from clause 4 (a) and (e).

Insert instead “AusIndustry”.
