Petroleum Products Pricing (Remuneration and Allowances) Regulations

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and in pursuance of section 4 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, hereby make the following Regulations under the Petroleum Products Pricing Act 1981.

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Petroleum Products Pricing (Remuneration and Allowances) Regulations.

Remuneration payable to Commissioner

2. Subject to any determination made under the Remuneration Tribunals Act 1973, the Commissioner shall be paid remuneration at the rate of $49,820 per year.

Allowance payable to Commissioner

3. Subject to any determination made under the Remuneration Tribunals Act 1973, the Commissioner shall be paid an allowance at the rate of $2,275 per year.

Travelling allowance payable to Commissioner

4. Subject to any determination under the Remuneration Tribunals Act 1973, where the Commissioner is, in the course of performing his duties,

 

necessarily absent overnight from the city or town in which he ordinarily resides or, where he does not ordinarily reside in a city or town, the place at which he ordinarily resides, he is entitled to be paid, in respect of the period of absence, travelling allowance at the rate of $72 per day.
