Petroleum (GST) Regulations 2000

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Petroleum Regulations 2000 to increase certain fees to cover the costs of the goods and services tax.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 252 of the Petroleum Act 1998.

3. Increases in fees

In regulation 50 of the Petroleum Regulations
20001—

(a)

in sub-regulation (1), for "$0.50" substitute "$0.55";

(b)

in sub-regulation (2), for "$5000" substitute "$5500";
