An Act to amend the Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Safety Levies Act 2011 as amended by the Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Safety Levies Amendment Act 2012.

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Safety Levies Amendment Act (No. 2) 2012

s. 1

1.             Short title

This is the Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Safety Levies

Amendment Act (No. 2) 2012.

2.             Commencement

This Act comes into operation as follows —

(a)	sections 1 and 2 — on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent;
(b)

the rest of the Act — immediately after the Petroleum Act 2012 section 9 comes into operation.

3.             Act amended

This Act amends the Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Safety

Levies Act 2011.

4.             Section 10A amended

After section 10A(2) insert:

(3) The levy is imposed.

5.             Section 10D amended

After section 10D(2) insert:

(3) The levy is imposed.
