s1 2 s3 Petroleum Amendment (No. 2) No. 240, 1997 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Petroleum Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1997 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Petroleum Regulation 1966 . ˙ Amendment of s 241D (Application of s 126 of the Act—Act, s 126(4)) 3.(1) Section 241D(2)(b), ‘or marketing pipeline services’— omit. (2) Section 241D— insert— ‘ (3) Section 126(3)(b) and (d) of the Act does not apply to the facility owner of pipeline licence no. 30 to the extent that the related corporation is— (a) carrying on the business of designing, constructing, maintaining, operating or owning pipelines; or (b) providing support services to the facility owner’s business, including accounting, human resources, information technology, legal, public relations, records management and general administration services. ‘ (4) In this section— “operating” pipelines includes marketing services provided by the pipelines.’.
