s1 2 s5 Petroleum Amendment (No. 1) No. 6, 1997 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Petroleum Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1997 . ˙ Commencement 2.(1) Section 4 commences on the day pipeline licence no. 41 is issued. (2) The remaining provisions commence on the date of notification. ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the Petroleum Regulation 1966 . ˙ Amendment of s 241D (Application of s 126 of the Act—Act, s 126(4)) 4. Section 241D— insert— ‘ (2) For the facility owner of pipeline licence no. 41 (Ballera to Mount Isa)— (a) to the extent that the facility owner is carrying on the business of production of gas in south west Queensland—section 126 of the Act, except subsection (3)(a) and (c), does not apply; and (b) to the extent that the facility owner and related corporation are carrying on the business of designing, constructing, maintaining or operating pipelines or marketing pipeline services—section 126(3)(b) and (d) of the Act does not apply.’. ˙ Amendment of sch 4 (Section 126 pipeline licences) 5. Schedule 4— insert— ‘Pipeline licence no. 25 (Gladstone to Boyne Island)’.
