1,047 ANNO VICESIMO QUINTO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE BEGIN AE No. 89 of 1976 An Act to amend the PetroleumAct 1923-1972 in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 17TH DECEMBER, 1976] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Petroleum Act Amendment Act 1976. (2) In this Act, the Petroleum Act1923-1972 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Petroleum Act1923-1976. 2. Commencement of Act. This Act shall commence and shall be taken to have commenced on 1 January 1977. 3. Amendment of s. 14. Section 14 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from subsection (5) the words " 19.4 cents " and substituting the words " 40 cents ". 4. Amendment of s. 20. Section 20 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the words " 19.4 cents " and substituting the words " 40 cents ". 5. Amendment of s. 32. Section 32 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from subsection (1) the expression " $8 " and substituting the expression " $14 ".
