PESTICIDES ACT 1978—REGULATION

(Relating to certain forms prescribed for the purposes of the Pesticides Act)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Pesticides Act 1978, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Pesticides Regulation 1979 is amended by omitting clauses 29, 31

and 40 (2) (b) and Forms 6, 8 and 13.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Certain amendments made to the Pesticides Act 1978 by the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1990 provide for the Chief of the Division of Animal Health of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries to approve the forms of labels, records, applications for certain certificates, notices and receipts under that Act. Previously, those forms were prescribed by the regulations.

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Pesticides Regulation 1979 so as to

omit the prescribed forms.
