AN ACT for the Establishment and Mainten- ance in Western Australia of the Perth Branch of the Royal Mint.

WHEREAS it has been deemed expedient to make permanent

by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

THIS Act may be cited as "The Perth Mint Act, 1895."

allowances and expenses connected with the establishment of the Perth Branch of the Royal Mint : Provided that such yearly payments shall take effect and begin to run on and from the day upon which a Proclamation issued by Her Majesty, in England, shall be duly published in Western Australia, declaring that the coin issued from the said Perth Branch is to be a legal tender for payments within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.

3.     THE said several sums of money shall be paid by the

Governor's warrants. warrants as shall from time to time be issued under the hand of the

Governor ; and the said Colonial Treasurer shall account to Her Majesty for the same, through the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury, in such manner and form as Her Majesty shall be pleased to direct.

FROM and after the day on which the aforesaid yearly pay- lawfully received or collected at the Perth Branch shall be from time to time accounted for and paid over by the deputy master, or other proper officer of the said Branch, to the said Colonial Treasurer, to be by him paid into the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Colony.
