PERTH MARKET ACT 1926

PERTH MARKET AMENDMENT BY-LAWS 1997

Made by the Perth Market Authority and approved and confirmed by the

Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1.     These by-laws may be cited as the Perth Market Amendment

9 December 19971 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 7169

Principal by-laws

2. In these by-laws the Perth Market By-laws 1990* are referred to as the

principal by-laws.

By-law 26A inserted

3.     After by-law 26 of the principal by-laws, the following by-law is

inserted -

Packaging

26A. (1) An occupier shall not in the central trading area display, offer for sale, or sell any general produce in packaging containing less than the amount specified in relation to that kind of produce in Schedule 3.

(2) An occupier shall not in the central trading area display, offer for sale, or sell any general produce which is not in packaging, unless the produce is of a kind which under by-law 26 and item 11 of Schedule 3, may be sold individually.

Penalty: $400.

Schedule 3 repealed and a schedule substituted

4.     Schedule 3 to the principal by-laws is repealed and the following

Schedule is substituted -
