AN ACT to amend Section three of the Perth Gas Company's Act, 1886, and for other purposes in- cidental thereto.

RE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, -" by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

Short title. 1. This Act may be cited as the Perth Gas Company's

Act Amendment Act, 1937, and shall be read as one with

the Perth Gas Company's Act, 1886 (50 Victorite, No. 33), as amended by the Perth Gas Company's Act, 1886, Amendment Act, 1892, and the Perth Gas Company's Act, 1886, Further Amendment Act, 1897, hereinafter re- ferred to as the principal Act.

2. Section three of the principal Act is amended, as Amendment of s. 3.

follows :

(a)	by adding at the end of the section the words "and every other place outside the said circle of five miles to which the Governor may from time to time by proclamation declare that tins Act shall extend";
(b)	by adding to the section (as amended by para-

graph (a) hereof) a proviso, as follows :—

Provided that the Governor shall not make or issue any proclamation under this section to extend the limits of this Act to any place situ- ate within the district of any municipal council or of any road board outside the said circle of five miles unless and until the municipal council or the road board concerned (as the case may be) has by resolution consented thereto.
