Application for approval of the Pernod Ricard Winemakers Pty Ltd Production (Barossa Valley) Enterprise Agreement 2013

[1] An application for approval of an enterprise agreement known as the Pernod Ricard Winemakers Pty Ltd Production (Barossa Valley) Enterprise Agreement 2013 (the Agreement) has been made by Pernod Ricard Winemakers Pty Ltd (the employer). The application has been made pursuant to s.185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act) and is an application for a single-enterprise agreement.

[2] I am satisfied that each of the requirements of ss.186, 187 and 188 of the Act, as are relevant to this application for approval, have been met.

[3] United Voice (South Australian Branch), being a bargaining representative for the Agreement, has given notice under s.183 of the Act that it wants the Agreement to cover it. As required by s.201(2) of the Act, I note that the Agreement covers United Voice.

[4] The Agreement is approved. In accordance with s.54(1) of the Act, the Agreement will operate from 17 January 2014. The nominal expiry date of the Agreement is 30 June 2017.
