HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Permanent Building Societies Act 1967, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Permanent Building Societies Regulations 1967 are amended by inserting in Regulation 41A (1) in alphabetical order the words "State Bank of Victoria.".
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Permanent Building Societies Regulations 1967 so that any of the funds of permanent building societies invested with the State Bank of Victoria will be treated as liquid funds for the purpose of restrictions placed on the making of loans by those societies.
