AN ACT to continue and amend the Pensions
Supplementation Act, 1953-1955.
[Assented to 14th January, 1957.]
BE it enacted, by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
Short title

(Continuance).
| (2) | In this Act the Pensions Supplementation Act, |
1953-1955,
Act No. 78 of 1953 as amended by Act No. 21 of
1955,
is referred to as the principal Act.
(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Pensions Supplementation Act, 1953-1956.
| Section seven of the principal Act is amended by adding after the word, "child" being the last word in subsection (2) the passage, "until the thirty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-six but thereafter supplementation of a pension in the nature of an allowance payable to a child shall be increased by an amount of nineteen pounds ten shillings per annum and, notwithstanding section thirteen of this Act, payment of the increase shall commence on the first pay day for pensions after the thirty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-six". | amended. |

3. Section sixteen of the principal Act is amended trlded.
by substituting for the word, "fifty-six" in line three,
the word, "fifty-seven".
