AN ACT to extend the provisions of the Pensioners (Rates Exemption) Act, 1922-1938, to widows who are receiving pensions under the Widows' Pensions Act, 1942 (Commonwealth).

RE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, " by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Pensioners (Rates Exemption) Act Amendment Act, 1943, and shall be read as one with the Pensioners (Rates Exemption) Act, 1922-1938 (No. 18 of 1923 as amended by the Acts No. 26 of 1936 and No. 5 of 1938), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.
