Pearling (General) Amendment Regulations

(No. 2) 2003

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Pearling (General)

7 October 2003 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 4381

2.           The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Pearling
(General) Regulations 1991*•

3.            Regulation 6 amended

Regulation 6(1) is amended as follows:

(a) in paragraph (a) by deleting "$1850.00" and inserting instead -

44 $1910.00

(b) in paragraph (b) by deleting "$320.00" and inserting instead -

44 $330.00

(c)

in paragraph (c) by deleting "$320.00" and inserting " $330.00 ".

4.            Regulation 8 amended

Regulation 8 is amended by deleting "$65.00" in each place where it occurs and inserting instead -

44 $67.00

5.           Regulation 9 amended

(1) Regulation 9(1) is amended in the Table as follows:

(a) by deleting "580" and inserting instead -

46 600 ":

(b) by deleting "65" in both places where it occurs and inserting instead -

46 67 ";

(c)	by deleting "360" and inserting instead -
" 375 ".

(2) Regulation 9(2)(a) and (b) are deleted and "and" between them

and the following is inserted instead -

(a)	has returned to an inspector any tags issued in relation to the approved quota; and
(b)	in relation to a permanent approved transfer - has paid any outstanding fee for the issue or renewal of the licence (including any instalments that are not yet due).
