Pearling (General) Amendment

Regulations 2020

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Pearling (General) Amendment
Regulations 2020.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Pearling (General)
Regulations 1991.

4.             Regulation 6 amended

In regulation 6(1) delete “permit, unless payment of the fee is
waived by the CEO.” and insert:

permit.

5.             Regulation 9B inserted

After regulation 9A insert:

9B.	Refund, reduction or waiver of fees
The CEO may refund, reduce or waive, in whole or in part, any fee or charge payable or paid under these regulations if the CEO considers it appropriate to do so.
