Pearling Act 1990

Pearling (General) Amendment

Regulations 2013

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Pearling (General) Amendment
Regulations 2013.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Pearling (General)
Regulations 1991.

4.             Regulation 3 amended

(1)	In regulation 3(1) delete the definitions of:
certificate of health Chief Inspector of Stock stock inspector

(2) In regulation 3(1) insert in alphabetical order:

certificate of health has the meaning given in the Fish

Resources Management Regulations 1995

regulation 144A;

5.             Regulation 44A amended

In regulation 44A(2) and (3) delete “inspector or a stock”.

6.             Regulation 44B amended

In regulation 44B(2) delete “inspector or a stock”.

7.             Regulation 44D amended

(1)	In regulation 44D(3)(h) delete “Enzootic Diseases Regulations 1970; and” and insert:
Fish Resources Management Regulations 1995 Part 13A; and
(2)	In regulation 44D(4) delete “inspector or stock” (each
occurrence).

8.             Regulation 44J amended

In regulation 44J(2) delete “Chief Inspector of Stock.” and

insert:

Chief Executive Officer of the department of the Public Service principally assisting the Minister to whom the administration of the Fish Resources Management Act 1994 is for the time being committed in the administration of that Act.

9.             Regulation 44L amended

In regulation 44L(a) delete “Enzootic Diseases
Regulations 1970; or” and insert:

Fish Resources Management Regulations 1995 Part 13A; or

10.           Regulation 44Q amended

In regulation 44Q(a) delete “Enzootic Diseases
Regulations 1970; or” and insert:

Fish Resources Management Regulations 1995 Part 13A; or
