PEARLING AMENDMENT ACT
No. 13 of 1986
AN ACT to amend the Pearling Act 1912.
[Assented to 25 July 1986.]
BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the
advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Pearling Amendment Act 1986.
Commencement
2. This Act shall come into operation on a day to be fixed by procla-
mation.

3. In this Act the Pearling Act 1912* is referred to as the principal
Act.

Section 18 amended
| Section 18 of the principal Act is amended by deleting "set out in | 4. |
the Third Schedule hereto" and substituting the following-
" prescribed ".
Section 29 amended
5. Section 29 of the principal Act is amended in subsection (2) by
deleting "(not exceeding fifty cents)".
Section 48 amended
6. Section 48 of the principal Act is amended by deleting "a fee of
fifty cents" and substituting the following-
" the prescribed fee ".
Section 68 amended
7. Section 68 of the principal Act is amended in subsection (2) by
deleting "a fee of fifty cents" and substituting the following-
" the prescribed fee ".
Section 99 repealed
8. Section 99 of the principal Act is repealed.
Section 109 amended
9. Section 109 of the principal Act is amended in subsection (2) by
deleting "the same as that for a general license" and substituting the
following-
" as prescribed ".
Section 110 amended
10. Section 110 of the principal Act is amended in subsection (2) by
deleting "four dollars" and substituting the following-

| Section 116 amended |
11. Section 116 of the principal Act is amended by inserting after
paragraph (i) the following paragraph-
" (ia) fees to be paid in respect of matters arising under or provided for or authorized by this Act, and the reduction, waiver and refund, in whole or in part, of such fees; ".
Third Schedule repealed
12. The Third Schedule to the principal Act is repealed.
Seventh Schedule repealed
13. The Seventh Schedule to the principal Act is repealed.
