STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATIONS UNDER THE PEARL-SHELL OVERSEAS MARKETING ACT 1927.
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, do hereby make the following
Regulations under the

Pearl-shell Overseas Marketing (Preparation of Rolls) Regulations.
“The Act” means the
Pearl-shell Overseas Marketing Act 1927;“The Minister” means the Minister for Markets and Migration;
“The Secretary” means the Secretary of the Department of Markets and Migration.
“The poll” means the poll of producers under section 2 of the Act;
“The election” means the election of members of the Board in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Act.
(2) The rolls shall be certified by the Secretary by writing under his hand to be correct and shall be the rolls of producers to be used for the purposes of the poll and the election.
(3) Any firm or company which is a producer may, in accordance with Form A in the Schedule to these Regulations, appoint a representative to sign the claim for enrolment and to vote on its behalf at the poll and at the election.

(4) The rolls shall be conclusive evidence of the rights of the producers or the representatives of the producers named therein to vote at the poll and the election.
