An Act to amend section 5 (2) of the Pay-roll Tax Act, 1971, to enable disclosure of certain information to the Director, Department of Decentralisation and Development. [Assented to, 20th October, 1977.] BE

B E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the "Pay-roll Tax (Amendment) Act, 1977".

(1) Except as provided in subsection (2), this Act shall commence on the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Section 3 shall commence on such day as may be appointed by the Governor in respect thereof and as may be notified by proclamation published in the Gazette.

The Pay-roll Tax Act, 1971, is amended by inserting in section 5 (2) after the word "Commonwealth" the words ", to the Director, Department of Decentralisation and Development, for the purposes of the Country Industries (Pay-roll Tax Rebates) Act, 1977,".
