Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Pay-roll Tax Act Amendment Act 1974. (2) The Pay-roll Tax Act 1971-1973 is in this Actk referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Pay-roll Tax Act1971-1974.

Imposition of pay-roll tax on taxable wages. Section 7 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the words " four and one-half " and substituting the word " five ".
