An Act to amend ' The Pawnbroker's Ordinance, 1860.'

[Assented to 10th August, 1877.

Preamble

HEREAS it is expedient to amend The Pawnbroker's

Ordinance, 1800' ; Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency

the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as

follows :—

1. The thirteenth section of the said Ordinance shall be and the Repeal or sec. 13 same is hereby repealed ; provided always that the provisions of the '24thvi',N°.7 said section shall continue to apply to the case of any article taken in

pawn before the passing of this Act.
