Pawnbrokers and Second‑hand Dealers Amendment Regulations 2024

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Pawnbrokers and Second‑hand Dealers Amendment Regulations 2024.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

• (a)

  regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

• (b)

  the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2024.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Pawnbrokers and Second‑hand Dealers Regulations 1996.

4.Regulation 13 amended

In regulation 13(1) in the Table item 15 delete “roll.” and insert:

roll or a register of electors under the Electoral Act 1907 or a law of another jurisdiction (if any).
