His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following
Regulation under the Pawnbrokers and Second-hand Dealers Act 1996.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to further exempt Brightstar Logistics Pty Limited from the operation of certain provisions of the Pawnbrokers and Second-hand Dealers Act 1996.
This Regulation is made under the Pawnbrokers and Second-hand Dealers Act 1996, including section 43
(the general regulation-making power).

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

Clause 39 Specific exemptions from certain requirements
Insert “or from customers of Telstra Corporation Limited under Brightstar Logistics Pty Limited’s Buy Back and Trade-In Program” after “New Phone Feeling program” in clause 39 (2).
