AN ACT to amend the Pawnbrokers Act 1860.
[Assented to 26 November 1984.]
BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Pawnbrokers Mnrtlir2pal

Section 3
| amended. | 2. Section 3 of the principal Act is amended by deleting "applying for it on payment of" and sub- stituting the following- |
" applying for it on payment ".
Section 27A
| inserted. | 3. The principal Act is amended by inserting |
after section 27 the following section-

| (2) This section shall cease to have effect on the expiration of 12 months calculated from the day on which it came into operation. ". |
