GLEESON CJ:   The first two applicants are husband and wife and the other three applicants are their children.

The Federal Court (Stone J) dismissed an appeal against the dismissal by the Federal Magistrates Court of an application for review of the refusal of Temporary Business Entry (Class UC) Visas for the applicants.

The case turned upon the absence of compliance with the necessary requirement of sponsorship by an Australian business.  That being so, the other grounds presented in the Federal Court did not fall for determination.

There are no prospects of success on an appeal to this Court.  Special leave is refused with costs.

Pursuant to r 41.11.1 we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing with costs this application for special leave.

AT 9.25 AM THE MATTER WAS CONCLUDED
