192 MINING—PATRIOTIC FUND. Patriotic Fund of Queensland Act. 7 E liz . II. No. 22, (ii.) A full description of such lift and its enclosures when so altered or added to ; (c) The minimum requirements for the construction, installation, maintenance, alteration and operation of, and addition to, any such lift shall be the Lift Code for the time being in force as issued by the Standards Association of Australia; ( d ) No person other than a person who is competent by reason of his previous experience in the installation, alteration, repair, maintenance of, or addition to, electric lifts shall instal, alter, repair, maintain or add to any such lift; (e) Where there is any conflict between the provisions of this rule 53 b and of any other rule enacted in or made under this Act, the provisions of this rule 53 b shall prevail.” PATRIOTIC FUNDS. 7 EEIZ. [A ssented to 7 th M ay , 1958.] E it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, B by and with the advice and consent of the Legis lativeAssemblyof Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:— Short title. 1. This Act may be cited as “ The Patriotic Fund of Queensland Act of 1958.” Application 2. (1.) The trustees of the patriotic fund under pofrofuvinddinfgor a and within the meaning of *“ The Patriotic Funds Acts , Shrine of 1942 to 1953,” known as “The Patriotic Fund of Memories. Queensland ” may, and are hereby authorised to, make out of that fund payments, not exceeding in the * 6 G. 6 No. 38 and amending Act.

Patriotic Fund of Queensland Act. aggregate sixty thousand pounds, for the purpose of providing a Shrine of Memories in connection with the structure to be erected by the Returned Sailors, Soldiers, and Airmen’s Imperial League of Australia, Queensland Branch (herein referred to as “ the League ”) on the land descrmed in the Schedule to this Act, and which structure is to be known as Anzac House. (2.) The whole or any part of the amount not exceeding sixty thousand pounds authorised by this Act to be paid out of the aforesaid fund may be paid by the trustees thereof to the League and, in respect of any such payment, the receipt of the secretary of the League, or of any other officer thereof authorised to receive money on its behalf, shall be a good and sufficient discharge to the trustees, and they shall not be bound to see to the application of moneys the receipt whereof from the aforesaid fund is so acknowledged by or on behalf of the League. 3. To the extent necessary to give operation and Application effect to this Act the provisions of *“ The Patriotic Funds ^06 ^°^SVI' Acts, 1942 to 1953,” shall apply subject to this Act. amended. SCHEDULE. Section 2(1). The piece of land situated in the County of Stanley, Parish of North Brisbane, City of Brisbane, being Subdivision 1 of Allotment 165 a containing 1 rood 39 perches, be the same a little more or less, and being the whole of the land contained in Certificate of Title 633192, Volume 3073, Folio 182. * 6 G. 6 No. 38 and amending Act.
