HIS Excellency the
Governor-General, in pursuance of the Patents
Act 1903, has been pleased to make the following Regulations, to come into
force forthwith as Provisional Regulations.

* Provisional Regulations under the Patents Act 1903.
Section
29.
Pending the
commencement of the Patents Act 1903,
the following Provisional Regulations shall have force:—
1. The Patent Office shall be temporarily
established at the Commonwealth Public Offices, in Spring-street, Melbourne, in
the State of Victoria.
2. Applications for Letters Patent may be lodged
at the Patent Office so established.
3. Applications for Letters Patent may also be
lodged by being left with the principal officer at the Customs House in the
capital city in each State (except the State of Victoria), for transmission to
the Patent Office.
